Amboseli National Park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet Maasai and visit a Maasai village. The park also offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing Mountain in the world. Amboseli offers some of the best opportunities to see African animals because its vegetation is sparse due to the long dry months. Amboseli National Park is home to wild animals, which include the African elephant, Cape buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, hyena, giraffe, zebra, and wildebeest among other African animals. There is also a host of Kenyan birds, both large and small.
day 1Depart for Amboseli National Park between 7.30 am and 8.00 am, you will have brief stops along the way. The drive will take approx. 41/2 – 5hrs. Arrive in time for lunch at your camp followed by an early afternoon of leisure. Later you will depart for an evening game drive at around 4.00pm till dusk and later return to the camp for dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp - booked on full board.
day 2This day will be spent in the park with an option of doing an early morning game drive at 6.00am and evening game drive at 4.pm which will take like 2hrs each or full day game drive where you will depart the camp after breakfast at around 8.00 am or 9.00 am to 4.00pm and carry your packed lunch. You can also participate in optional activities like the Maasai Village Visit (AT AN EXTRA COST). All meals and overnight is at Kibo Safari Camp - on full board
